Razones para decir "Yeah, he's a keeper":

1. No tiene una película favorita. Esto es muy importante porque ¡yo tampoco tengo película favorita! No se puede limitar entre tantos géneros y moods a una sola cosa (es como si me pidieran mi libro favorito, no se puede). Es la primera persona que me responde eso cuando le pregunto por su película favorita.

2. No quiere salvarme, quiere acompañarme... y que yo lo acompañe. Quiere que sea la mejor versión de mí misma, que alcance lo que me propongo y que le acompañe a alcanzar lo que él se propone.

3. Se malviaja pensando en el futuro muy, muuuy lejano... just like me.

4. Rantea apasionadamente sobre los videojuegos y el arte en ellos. El brillo en sus ojos al hablar de ello es cautivador.

5. Me incita a que yo rantee apasionadamente sobre mis gustos, como mis libros, y me pregunta al respecto. Nada de "es que tú y tus libros", es un genuino interés.

6. Me hace reír. ¡Oh, dioses! Me hace reír tanto. Con cosas bien bobas, pero tiene esa capacidad de tomarse las cosas con humor, so delightful.

7. Los pequeños detalles... esos que marcan la diferencia, como llegar tan sencillo a dejarme en una USB la última película de Miyazaki, just because. Lo amé.

8. Sabe perfecto que en mi cabeza pasan mil cosas, y me pregunta por ellas.Por lo mismo, entiende perfecto cuando me pierdo dentro de mi cabeza, dentro de mis historias.

9. Comparte sus pasiones conmigo y sabe que quizá no nos apasionan las mismas cosas, pero que estoy dispuesta a escucharlo y entender sobre lo que le gusta.

Sword Art Online

Empecé anoche a ver el anime Sword Art Online por recomendación de Ratt, (aka el Mago Negro). Originalmente estaba viendo Samurai X, pero Ratt me dijo tan emocionado que tenía que verla que anoche la busqué.

Hay que decirlo, si Ratt no me hubiera explicado cosas sobre FFXI y los RPG's no habría entendido los primeros dos capítulos. La trama gira en torno a jugadores de RPG en el año 2022 que estrenan un nuevo juego, el Sword Art Online con una consola exclusiva que los lleva a otro nivel de realidad virtual. Los jugadores están inmersos en este otro mundo cuando el creador del mismo les avisa que no hay forma de salir, no hay un log-out ni los pueden desconectar de la consola. La única salida es llegar al último nivel del juego y vencer al jefe de ese nivel para poder regresar a la realidad. Y no, morir no es opción, porque en caso de morir dentro del juego, morirán en la vida real.
